information for transformational people

baby 246Voice for the voiceless

What you won’t find in the news each day
is that five hundred babies were aborted in the UK.
Their silence in death matches our silence in life,
an inconvenience kept out of sight.

If five hundred children were killed each day
in a drought-strewn land, come what may
we’d stop the slaughter, we’d give our funds.
We’d save the children, we’d help the mums.

These children here have no voice.
These children here have no choice.
What do you you think they would say?
What do you think they would pray?

What you won’t find in the courts each day
are lawyers for these children in the UK.
These babies are 'not human', they have no rights,
an inconvenience kept out of sight.

If five hundred children were killed each day
in bad operations, come what may
the lawyers would appear, paid vast sums.
They’d defend the children, they’d help the mums.

These children here have no voice.
These children here have no choice.
What do you you think they would say?
What do you think they would pray?

What you won’t find in the clinics each day
are advocates for these children in the UK.
Making millions out of killing is a charitable right,
an inconvenience kept out of sight.

If five hundred children were killed each day
in family homes, come what may.
the police would appear, social workers too.
They’d protect the family, they’d help make new.

These children here have no voice.
These children here have no choice.
What do you you think they would say?
What do you think they would pray?

This year, 2017, sees the 50th anniversary of the passing of the Abortion Act. Since then the number of unborn children who have lost their lives is equivalent to the current population of London - 8.4M. Or put another way, the population of Scotland and Wales. The Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child (SPUC) are offering to come to your church, your town in this anniversary year to speak about the current issues. More details here.
