One key to sustaining this exciting movement is, surely, to look behind the numbers at the motivation for those seeking faith. When we do this, we find the ‘whisper in the quiet revival’: the fact that people are looking for purpose and meaning in the whole of their lives. So often, their encounters with a Christian in daily life have been critical in prompting them to explore faith.
